About Me

 My name is Bianca and I am currently a junior at New Jersey City University. My major is in education with a co major in media arts !

My interest in literature started around the age of fourteen when I started reading books on my own that were in the realistic fiction genre. At the time, I found comfort in reading a good book where I could immerse myself in different worlds, perspectives, and emotions. I found it interesting how I grew to care about characters that were just words on a page. It taught me how captivating storytelling could be and the impact it brings. Before I found a passion for film ( hence my major) I spent a lot of free time hunting down the best books and figuring out if I agreed with other peoples opinions. I learned that every author is different and certain ways of writing are more effective than others.

This semester, I hope to deepen my appreciation for literature and improve my skills that will help shape my academic and personal growth.
